My favorite smoothie is what you see here. Everything is organic. Coconut milk, a big handful of kale, one banana, frozen berries, frozen mango, frozen pineapple and a spoonful of chia.
Last night we cleared off the dinner table, and everyone had left when we realized that one of the children hadn't touched his veggie. We were debating whether to call him back when we realized he'd already had 1/2 a cup of raw kale in his snack that afternoon without even realizing it. Crisis averted. Heh heh.

This whole process has been slowed down because whoever installed the cabinet doors many years ago decided that it would be OK to strip every single @$^#&%* screw. UGH! Luckily my husband introduced me to my new best friend the vice grip. My wrists are getting a good workout. Some of these screws are very hard to clamp, and for those I sacrificed a water balloon for better "gription."

This house is kind of a lot of work. Everywhere I look there is something that needs to be done. I don't feel like I have time to blog much anymore. I think from here on out for the next few months, I'm just going to post pictures. Commentary bores me. HA HA!!

Meanwhile, in the front entry, kids were keeping all their baseball gear right by the front door where people would regularly be tripping over helmets and bats, etc. I don't know how other little league families do it. Maybe they are more organized than we are. But not anymore....heh heh!
